xe · nwar  ·  n.  ·  spiritual + political identity
⬡ DEFINITION
xenoir (n.)

a spiritual and political identity describing the experience of Black alterhumans who feel fundamentally disconnected from humanity. Influenced by Afropessimist thought, xenoir is rooted in the recognition that "humanity" is not a universal or neutral category but a colonial construct — one built specifically to position Black people outside its boundaries.

Xenoir does not seek inclusion within that construct but names the experience of its exclusion as a distinct identity. It reclaims the animalization historically imposed through antiblackness, refusing the logic that such identification is a degradation rather than a refusal of a fraudulent framework.

⬡ THEORETICAL INFLUENCES

influenced by Afropessimist thought, particularly the work of scholars who theorize anti-Blackness as a structural and metaphysical condition rather than a social problem alone.
